On the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, in the water Ganga enhancement campaign started from March 30 in the state, the cleanliness of water structures was taken an oath to conserve them and save water in the public community. In the campaign, along with the Jan Abhiyan Parishad, many voluntary organizations went ahead and participated in this sacred work.

The pond was cleaned by shramdaan
Water conservation works are being done continuously with community public participation in Chhindwara district. In Jal Chaupal, villagers are being told about the importance of water saving. On the initiative of Collector Shri Sheelendra Singh, the villagers cleaned the pond built in the village under the leadership of Sanjay Bamne, the development block coordinator of the Jan Abhiyan Parishad, Sanjay Bamne. With this, the villagers were administered the oath of water conservation. Sector number-02 Khamra’s Indra Colony of Block Bichhua was made a smoking pit. The villagers were informed about the importance of construction of soak pit in the water conservation program through water harvesting.

Adequate amount of water found on tubewell mining
Ground-water survey work and tube wells were mined in the government colony in Rajgarh district. In which sufficient amount of water was found at 175 feet. It was a difficult task to get sufficient amount of water at such a low depth in the district. Groundwaterlord Dr. Nagar gave 100 percent results by using scientific methods by conducting ground water survey from the registration meter. On this effort, Collector Dr. Girish Kumar Mishra praised the ground water survey work. He said that the more water we will try to recharge in the district, the better for our golden future.

Dugwell recharge being made for water conservation
Constant activities are being organized in the water Ganga enhancement campaign in Sehore district. In this sequence, dugwell recharge is being constructed in many villages including village Karadia Bhil and Nayapura so that more and more rain water can be protected. Many activities are being conducted including wall writing, awareness rally, poster banners, rangoli, gram sabhas, kalash yatras, oath to make the common people aware of water conservation in the district. Under the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan, fields, ponds, amrit lakes, permission tanks, dugwells, pond renovation, public participation work, coup and boundary repair are being done in the district. With the participation of society in the district, the construction of water structures, groundwater enhancement, cleaning the water storage structures from the east are being cleaned and renovated.

Mass shramdaan done on Puran pond
In Raisen district, a collective shramdaan and plantation program was organized at the Puran pond of Raisen in the water Ganga enhancement campaign to save rain water till June 30. Sanchi MLA Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary, District Panchayat President Mr. Yashwant Meena, Municipality President Mrs. Savita Sen, Collector Shri Arun Kumar Vishwakarma, Superintendent of Police Shri Pankaj Pandey, including local public representatives and officials, were cleaned and cleaned the ghats of Puran Talab. After this, plantation was done on the banks of the ghats.

Many activities done for water conservation
Wide work is being done in rural and urban areas for water conservation in Gwalior district. In the district, along with farm ponds, dagwail recharge, Amrit Sarovar as well as rivers, ponds and historical wells, work are being done. In the urban area too, the work of cleanliness and protection of historical wells, stepwells has been taken up. The work of removing large quantities of obstacles has also been done from the flowing area of ​​the historic Murar River of Gwalior. The work of 907 farm ponds was taken up in rural areas. The work of the farm ponds is being done with high speed. Along with this, the work of 846 Dugwell Recharge has been done in the district. Work has been done in 8 Amrit Sarovar in rural areas. The work of fixing about 1393 water structures in the district is being done. The renovation of 25 historical stepwells of Gwalior city is being done. Under the water Ganga enhancement campaign, the work of freeing the flow area in the Murar river is also being done on a large scale. Through the works done in the water Ganga enhancement campaign, water conservation will be done in all the structures during the rainy season and the underground water level will increase.

Cleanliness of pond in Pipariya
Under the water Ganga enhancement campaign in Katni district, extensive sanitation and sanitation are being conducted for maintenance of dilapidated drinking water sources and water structures.
