West Bengal: RG tax announcement for a week on the anniversary of rape and murder, starts from today

Last year RG of Kolkata Protests are scheduled to begin again in West Bengal from Friday on the first anniversary of rape and murder of a woman junior doctor of Tax Medical College and Hospital. These protests organized by various groups will run till 15 August.

The body of a junior doctor who was a victim of rape was found in the seminar hall of the hospital on the morning of August 9. The main accused Sanjay Roy has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the lower court, but a major conspiracy was accused in the crime. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was also investigating from this aspect. However, the central agency could not complete its investigation into the alleged ‘big conspiracy’ behind the crime.

This demonstration on the first anniversary of rape and murder is about the non -completion of the investigation of the state government and the CBI. The victim’s parents have called for a ‘Nabanna Abhijan (March)’ March) and appealed to all political parties to join this procession without a flag, demanding justice on their daughter’s death anniversary. The couple arrived to meet CBI Director Praveen Sood to meet the CBI Director Praveen Sood to express their complaints on the progress of the investigation being conducted by the Central Agency.

Before leaving the national capital, the victim’s father said, “We are going to New Delhi to meet CBI Director and our advocate Karuna Nandi in the Supreme Court. However, he confirmed that he would return to Kolkata to participate in ‘Nabanna Abhijan’ on the morning of 9 August.
