A judge of the Colombia District Court in the US on Friday ordered President Donald Trump’s administration to resume foreign aid.
Mr. Trump or ordered to suspend all foreign aid for 90 days as part of the re -evaluation of US financial commitments abroad as per the US First policy of his administration in one of his first executive orders.
The court’s document decision said, “It has been ordered that the defendant State Secretary Marco Rubio, [कार्यवाहक यूएसएआईडी डिप्टी] Peter Marco, Management and Budget Office Director Russell Watt, US State Department, US International Development Agency and Management and Budget Office and their agents are temporarily prevented from implementing or implementing any executive order.
Under the order, the defendants cannot stop the distribution of foreign aid in any way and do not suspend or eliminate any contract for this assistance.
The court also said that one of the reasons for the ban was to review the effectiveness of the government’s aid programs.
