Two people died in a painful road accident in Balrampur, strong speed car and e-rickshaw collision

Two people were killed and five others were seriously injured in a painful road accident in Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. The accident occurred on the Barahni National Highway when a high speed car hit an e-rickshaw filled with rides coming from the front.

According to the police, the e-rickshaw was going towards Shankarpur intersection, while the car was coming from Balrampur towards Barahni. The collision was so severe that the e-rickshaws flew away. 45-year-old Mustafa, who was riding in an e-rickshaw, died on the spot, while 70-year-old Hussain died on the way to the hospital.

A total of five people, including an e-rickshaw driver, have been injured in a nearby hospital in this accident. The condition of the injured remains critical. Brijanandan Rai, CO of Tulsipur, said that the bodies have been sent for post -mortem and the matter is being investigated.

On receiving the information of the incident, regional MLA Rakesh Yadav reached the spot and expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. He has demanded the state government to provide financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the dependents of the deceased and Rs 2 lakh to the injured. After the accident, traffic on the highway was interrupted for some time, which the police reached the spot and made normal.
