Baba Barfani’s Holy Amarnath Yatra (Amarnath Yatra) starts from July 3, it will run till August. This time this journey will run for 38 days. The entire route of Amarnath Yatra has been declared a no flying zone from July 1 to August 10. In such a situation, helicopter services will not be available for passengers on traditional Baltal and Pahalgam tracks.
The pilgrims will have to either walk the holy cave or reach it by pony or palanquin. Keeping in mind the safety of the devotees, this decision has been taken, but this may affect the number of pilgrims. A large number of passengers go to the holy cave by helicopter. These include sick, elderly, Divyang. There are a large number of passengers in Gwalior who were waiting for online booking for helicopter service to start.
Let us know that in the Amarnath Yatra starting from July 3, no reason has been given to the closure of the helicopter services. But security -related sources say that terrorists could target helicopters. Therefore, the government has to take this decision.

This decision of the Shrine Board also has anger among thousands of devotees who were planning to travel by helicopter. Especially such devotees who are unable to walk in bumpy and mountainous paths. Helicopter service from Pahalgam and Baltal routes had been going on every year. Online booking was done for the route on both sides and different fare was determined. It has been decided not to provide helicopter service due to the declaration of no flying zone.
