Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel has said that by organizing the foundation day of the states, the spirit of unity and the vision of one Bharat Shrestha Bharat are realized. Understanding the diversity of the country, inspiration to promote dialogue and cooperation between different cultures. He said that an Bharat Shrestha Bharat Abhiyan is the result of the widespread and far -reaching thinking of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He has expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for the initiative of the campaign. He has called upon the countrymen to respect the diversity of states and promote a shared cultural heritage to strengthen India’s unity.
Governor Shri Patel was addressing a joint ceremony of Foundation Day of Telangana and West Bengal in the Sandipani Auditorium of Raj Bhavan. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary of the Governor, Shri K.C. Gupta, Additional Secretary Mr. Umashankar Bhargava and natives of both the states residing in the state were present.
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that our country is a diverse and multi -culture, whose form is made up of the specific culture, language, history and traditions of different states. The unity created in the variations of various states has created unity in India’s diversity in the world. Understanding the fundamental unity in the legacy and diversity of specific cultural traditions of the states is to make an India a superior India. He said that unity in the cultural diversities of Telangana and Bengal can be understood in their cultural similarities. Both cultures include vibrant arts, dances, music and festivals. His folk art and tribal traditions are also special, where Kali Puja is organized in Bengal, while in Telangana, the traditional festival Bonalu is celebrated for the worship of Goddess Mahakali. Similarly, during Navratri in Telangana, the festival of Batukamma is enthusiastically. In Bengal, he is celebrated as Durga Puja.
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that revolutionary Khudiram Bose, Suryasen, Prafulla Chaki, Bagha Jatin and Nalini Das from Eastern India along with revolutionary alluri Sitaram Raju, Pingali Venkaiya from South India along with the same loyalty and dedication were also the voice of struggle. Our Rashtra song- Vande Mataram and Rashtra Anthem- Jana-Gana-Mana and our beloved national address Jai Hind is the gift of the east, then the national flag is the gift of the tricolor’s design Pingali Venkaiah of the south. He congratulated the foundation day of Telangana and Bengal states as the first citizen of Madhya Pradesh. He appreciated the initiative for the joint event of India’s newly Telangana and the oldest West Bengal state of West Bengal. He provided a citation to the artists involved in cultural presentations and wished a bright future by appreciating them.
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel was greeted by representatives of both states according to their state tradition. Video messages of Telangana Governor Shri Jishanu Dev Verma and Governor of West Bengal Shri C.V. The message of Ananda Bose was read. A short film about the state was also shown. A short film related to the history, culture and progress of Madhya Pradesh was shown on this occasion.
At the beginning of the program of Governor Shri Patel, on behalf of Telugu Sangamam Bhopal, Shri Rambabu Padala, President of Shri Kishore Naidu and Balaji Temple Bhel Bhopal, welcomed the traditional artwork. Chairman of Bengali Association Bhopal, Mr. N. Banerjee and Secretary Shri Salil Chatterjee greeted by presenting the artwork of Bengal’s famous Shola paper. Mrs. Vidya Kalli, a member of Telugu Sangamam Bhopal, gave a welcome address. Thank you, Mr. N., President of Bengali Association Bhopal. Banerjee did it.
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel had performances based on the pride of art, culture and history of both the states in the joint ceremony of the states. Dance artists of Telangana state performed under the direction of Guru Manjumani. The devotional performance of Bathukamma, Brahma Okte and Nagam Nagam dance gave spirituality to the atmosphere.
