On the day of Rakshabandhan i.e. on Saturday morning, IndiGo’s flight going from Lucknow to Dehradun was stopped due to technical fault. The flight from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow was going to take off within a few minutes. IndiGo flight 6E-515 was to leave Lucknow at 8:55 am and reach Dehradun at 10:15 am.
According to a passenger traveling on the aircraft, the boarding of the aircraft was completed and there were 158 passengers including crew members. When the aircraft was going on the runway from the taxi way to fly, the aircraft got a slight shock, the pilot identified the technical disturbance.
The pilot immediately stopped the aircraft by informing the air traffic control. The aircraft was then brought back to taxiway. A team of engineers was immediately called to remove the aircraft failure.
Here the team of engineers removed the aircraft failure after about two and a half hours of hard work. After this, the aircraft was dispatched. The aircraft leaving at 8:55 could fly at 10.50 am. The aircraft’s time to reach Dehradun is 10.15 am.
