Before Independence Day, a big untoward has been postponed in Delhi. Here the Special Task Force (STF) has recovered a large stock of weapons from Sarita Vihar area of South East Delhi.
According to the police, the recovered weapons include 10 cm-automatic pistols. All the weapons are in the state -of -the -art (softized) category and additional magazines have also been found with them.
According to Delhi Police, a person named Amit has been arrested in this case. He is being questioned. He told that this consignment of weapons was brought from Madhya Pradesh to Delhi.
STF officials say that the recovered weapons could be used in major criminal or terrorist incidents. Investigation is going on in the case and the supply chain of arms is being detected.
