Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Veerangana Lakshmibai’s Shauryagatha should reach the people. The sacrifice fair organized in Gwalior for the last 26 years to bring the sacrifice of Maharani Laxmibai to the people is a meaningful effort. The government will cooperate fully for organizing the sacrifice fair. Along with this, he also announced to give an amount of five lakh rupees for the plays based on the life of the heroes. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there will be a meeting of the Council of Ministers in Gwalior in his honor on the birth centenary year of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal ji.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, on the occasion of the 167th anniversary, descended at Maharani Laxmibai Sacrifice Fair, descendants of Durga Singh, partner of martyr Mangal Pandey, wife of martyr Vivek Singh Tomar and national cricketer Ku. Vaishnav Sharma was also honored. On the occasion of the sacrifice fair, Pujya Mahant Ramdas Ji Maharaj Dandraua Sarkar, State Culture Minister Dharmendra Lodhi, Founder President of Balidan Mela, Jaibhan Singh Powaiya, State Horticulture Minister Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Mrs. Krishna Gaur, Regional MP Bharat Singh Kushwaha, State General Secretary Organization Hitanand Sharma Kushwaha, State General Secretary Organization Hitanand Sharma Sharma Kushwa Indrapurkar, former MP Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar, former minister Anoop Mishra, Chairman Municipal Corporation Manoj Tomar, former minister Ramnivas Rawat, BJP district president Shahar Jayaprakash Rajouria, Rural President Prem Singh Rajput and a large number of citizens were present.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government has always been dedicated to the honor of the heroes, as Veerangana, Sakshat Devi Durga took birth on earth and sacrificed its sacrifice on the land of Gwalior in our Madhya Pradesh, this land is like a pilgrimage for us. The Chief Minister said that on the land of Gwalior, great personalities like Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia and Atal Bihari Vajpayee have done incomparable work in the development of the country.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that by implementing new education policy in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done important work to make the youth aware of the valor, culture, music and other genres of the country. The state government is working fast on Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s river couples scheme. Gwalior-Chambal division will get the most benefit of this scheme. Also, a technology hub will also be established in Gwalior, which will provide employment to many youths.

Jaibhan Singh Powaiya, the founder president and former minister of Veerangana Mela, said that 166 years ago, Veerangana Laxmibai had offered her sacrifice at the feet of Bharat Mata. The sacrifice fair is a ritual and Mahayagya to awaken patriotism. This event is being done continuously since the year 2000. Pawaiya said that the blood of Maharani Laxmibai is included on the place where the sacrifice fair is held. This earth is not a piece of land but sandalwood. He also gave information about the organizing of the sacrifice fair.

Mahanatya and All India Kavi Sammelan centered on Veerangana Laxmibai

The dignified program of the sacrifice fair performed the Mahantya centered on Veerangana Laxmibai, which was highly appreciated by the audience. Along with this, Kavi Sammelan was also organized. Patriotic poems by eminent poets captivated the audience.

On the sacrifice day of Jhansi’s queen Veerangana Laxmibai, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached the Lakshmibai Samadhi site in Gwalior and paid a soulful tribute to him and paid a wreath. He saluted the valor and sacrifice of Veerangana Lakshmibai.
