A solar village will be developed in Bhopal district of MP. The power requirement of the entire village will be met only with solar energy. The Collector has given instructions to the concerned departments including the District Panchayat for this. For this, the lead bank has been asked to finance. Work will be started here by selecting the village in the next fifteen days. At present, more than 32 thousand solar panels are installed in Bhopal. This is a 1.92 lakh kW plant. Everyday 7.68 lakh units of electricity are being generated from them.
This is 13 percent of the need of the city. These 2.30 crore units are producing electricity in the month. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave a target of setting up 25 thousand plants to Bhopal Nigam and producing about 900 MW solar.
Government roofs should make 35 thousand units of electricity daily
● Building 93 buildings of the municipal corporation are in the city. If you set up 20 kW per roofing plant, 7200 units of electricity can be made daily from the 1800 kW plant. 2.16 lakh units of electricity will be produced in the month, which is equal to the corporation’s one month electricity expenditure.
● There are 75 buildings of 40 departments of the district administration. If you set up 20 kW per roofing plant, 6000 units of electricity can be produced daily from a 1500 kW plant. It will be 1.80 lakh units in the month. Along with completing the power consumption of these buildings, there will be an additional 20 percent to others.
● Electricity company has 35 offices in the city. According to 20 kW, 2800 units of electricity can be produced daily from the 700 kW plant. These 8400 units will be built in the month. The monthly expenditure of these offices is 9000 units.
