The seven -storey mushroom plant operated in village Karpia in Bever area caught fire late on Saturday night due to a short circuit. On Sunday morning, there was chaos in the villagers after seeing the flames. On the information of the plant operator, ASP Nagar and CO City tried to extinguish the fire but could not get success. In view of the problems faced in extinguishing the huge fire, efforts are being made to extinguish fire by calling fire engines from the surrounding districts. The plant owner has expressed a possibility of loss of crores of rupees due to fire.
Mushroom plant was going on for four years in Kaild Store
The Mushroom plant under the name of Kapil Muni Agro Foods has been operating at Kapilmuni Cold Store in village Karpia in Bever region. About seven hundred blocks have been built for mushroom production in this seven -storey plant. It is operated by Manoj Kumar Singh Bais. The plant caught fire from the short circuit around 12:30 pm on Saturday. The local villagers gave information about this at around five o’clock on Sunday morning, seeing smoke coming out of the plant.
Fire brigade reached the spot after information
On receiving the information, ASP Nagar Arun Kumar Singh, SDM Bhogaon Sandhya Sharma, CO City Santosh Kumar Singh reached the spot with the police and fire department. Where the team attempted to extinguish the fire, but the fire was so severe that it could not be controlled. The authorities then called fire engines from Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur and Etawah districts. The team is still engaged in extinguishing the fire.
Mushroom bags burnt in fire
At the same time, the plant Manoj Kumar Singh said that due to the fire, everything has been burnt in the warehouse with his mushroom bags. Due to which they have lost crores of rupees. Due to Rakshabandhan, the workers working in the plant were on leave. Therefore, information about the fire could not be found on time.
