A painful road accident occurred in Rohru area of Shimla district. A car near Chidgaon fell into the Pabbar River, in which three youths died on the spot, while one is seriously injured. The accident took place around 12 pm when four youths were returning from the local Laila fair towards Rohru.
The police suspect that due to bad weather and heavy rains, the car slipped from the road and fell into the river. Police and rescue teams reached the spot as soon as the information was received. After hard work, the bodies of the three youths were taken out of the river. The deceased have been identified as Vishal Thakur, Abhay Khandian and Himanshu, who live in Chidgaon region.
Harsh Chauhan, the fourth young man injured in this accident, was immediately rushed to Rohru Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. The police have taken the dead bodies and sent it for postmortem and started investigating the case. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire area due to this incident. The accident is a major tragedy for the local people, as the four youths were residents of the same area. Police say they are thoroughly investigating the cause of this tragic incident.
