The victim’s mother became ill during the strike
The victim’s mother became ill while staging a sit -in near the barricade next to Race Course. Allegedly, when he asked for water from the police, he did not give it. Later, other protesters present there brought water. But even after giving water and pouring water on the face, there was no improvement in the health of the victim’s mother and was taken to the hospital. Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari, who was sitting on a dharna near the Park Street Barricade, complained that the police lathi -charged. More than 100 protesters were injured in the incident. Many were admitted to the hospital. The opposition leader said that I will go to the hospital to see the victim’s mother.
The victim’s father accused
Earlier, the victim’s father came down from the barricade and tried to talk to the police with a gap in Barricade. He said, “The High Court has allowed us, why are you stopping me? We are going peacefully. Let me go.” The victim’s parents sat there with several protesters after no response from the police.
