In the UP Police Recruitment Exam 2023, the training of the selected women soldiers is going on in PTS these days. The DIG had issued a decree to conduct pregnancy checks of all women trainees. Which also included unmarried female trainees. As soon as this order came to light, the controversy arose. This order was said that if a constable is pregnant, then an affidavit should be taken and sent to the next batch.
Order canceled after dispute
The DIG of PTS sent a letter to the CMO to conduct a pregnancy check of women recruits. As soon as this matter reached the police headquarters, clear instructions were given to cancel this letter in a hurry. In which it has been said that investigation is not mandatory. Police Line, PAC and RTC have been created in Gorakhpur for women soldiers.
Explain that it was given clear instructions about training that if a woman recruit is pregnant, then she should take an affidavit and train her in the next batch. In fact, DIG Rohan P. ordered a pregnancy investigation of all 513 women trainees under the government policy of separating pregnant female trainees from training. Seeing the seriousness of the case, IG Chandra Prakash immediately took action and canceled the order.
