The process of rain started in Indore on Wednesday continued till Thursday. It started raining on Thursday morning and continued intermittently. The strong cold winds completely changed the weather and the heat and humidity completely disappeared. Earlier on Wednesday, there was cloudy after noon and many areas received light rain in the evening. This relieved the heat for some time, but later the effect of humidity was intensified. In the last 24 hours, Indore recorded a maximum temperature of 31.4 degrees Celsius, which was 4 degrees below normal. During this time the temperature has dropped by 1 degree. Meteorologists have now predicted continuous rain.
Rain will increase in third week of June
The third week of June is going on, and this month Indore has average rainfall of 5 inches. According to experts, there is a possibility of good rains in the next 12 days. On Thursday, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in Indore, Ujjain and all over Madhya Pradesh. According to senior meteorologist Dr. Divya E. Surendran, two low pressure areas and three cyclonic circulation systems are active, due to which alert of strong rain has been issued in many districts of the state for the next 4 days. During this time, there may be very heavy rains somewhere, and in 24 hours, water can fall from two and a half to 8 inches.
This will provide relief to the citizens from the heat and humidity. Three mm rainfall was recorded at Vedar station at the airport till 8.30 pm on Wednesday night. The Weather station of MP Pollution Control Board at Regal recorded 8.50 mm rainfall. According to the scientists of the Meteorological Center at Bhopal, a low pressure area is currently on Central Rajasthan.
Rain activities will increase in the city
At the same time, a Dronika is going to North Gujarat via Punjab. Apart from this, there is an upper air cyclone on central Uttar Pradesh. Due to this effect, there will be a continuity in rain activities in Indore in the coming days.
Indore will have winds at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour in Indore. The same will rain with thunderstorms. On Wednesday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 31.4 degrees Celsius, which was four degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 24.2 degrees, which was normal.
Two Weather System Active
According to meteorologist Ajay Shukla, due to Weather system built at different places in the state, many districts may receive good rains. Around 25-26 June, a low pressure area is expected to be formed in the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, this process of intermittent rain will continue.
One day of monsoon arrival late
This time the monsoon had reached the country 8 days ahead of the scheduled time. The monsoon came before the scheduled time in states like Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, due to which it was estimated that the monsoon in Madhya Pradesh would come in the first week of June. However, this did not happen, and the monsoon was staying in Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh for the last 15 days. On 13-14 June, the monsoon went ahead and entered Madhya Pradesh, but it was late in the state.
Possibility of heavy rains from a system made in Gujarat
Within three days, the monsoon covered the entire state. The general date for admission of monsoon in Madhya Pradesh is June 15, while last year it came on 21 June. Now the system built in Gujarat will be active in Madhya Pradesh, which will take a time or two. During this time, the state will be cloudy and light rain will continue.
