India’s President Draupadi Murmu was visiting Indore and Barwani districts of Madhya Pradesh on 18 and 19 June today. However, his visit to both days suddenly has been canceled late night. However, there is no clear reason for the cancellation of the tour. However, it is expected that his visit has been canceled keeping in view the deteriorating weather due to monsoon activities. Now only Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will be involved in the program to be held on June 19 in village Talen of Barwani.
The cancellation of President Murmu was reported by Indore Collector Ashish Singh by posting information on his social media handle X late on Tuesday night. The post said that, His Majesty Draupadi Murmu’s stay of Indore and Barwani on 18 and 19 June has been canceled. The administration was preparing for it for the last one week. On Sunday, Collector Ashish Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shivam Verma and all the prominent officials reached the entire visit of the President and took stock of the preparations. On Monday and Tuesday, the traffic team did a complete rehearsal and late tonight news came that the President’s visit was canceled.
Did not say the reason for not coming
According to the information given by Collector Ashish Singh, no information related to the cancellation of the visit from Rashtrapati Bhavan has also been given. It is worth noting that a state level program is being organized at the Sports Stadium of Gram Panchayat Talun in Barwani on June 19 under the National Sickle Cell Eradication Mission-2047. President Draupadi Murmu was attending the program as the chief guest. She would stay in Indore at night. Then from here, on June 19, she would attend the state level program to be held on World Sickle Cell Anemia Day in village Talen of Barwani. There she was Arhi to start ‘Sikal Mitra Pahal’.
All preparations were completed
Earlier, preparations for the President’s arrival were completed. For this, special tightness was done on security, housing, transport, electricity, cleanliness, fire brigade and medical facilities. All necessary arrangements were also made at the venue to be held in village Talen in Barwani district. President Murmu was coming to Indore on the evening of 18 June.
