PM Modi’s BJP leaders do not give irresponsible statements on Operation Sindoor, BJP leaders should restraint

New Delhi
The rhetoric about ‘Operation Sindoor’ has created a storm in the political corridors. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself intervened and gave a clear message to the BJP leaders to keep restraint on their speech and avoid making unnecessary statements. He said that speaking anywhere, can harm the image of the party. In a recent meeting of NDA Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers, PM Modi gave this message directly to the leaders. He said that no irresponsible comments should be made under the guise of the might of the army and the strategy of the government.

Praise ‘Operation Sindoor’ in NDA meeting, but also advice
During the meeting, Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde made a proposal, in which ‘Operation Sindoor’ was described as the confidence of Indians. The proposal appreciated the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that he has always supported the armed forces. Also, tributes were paid to the soldiers who were martyred in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. But with this, the Prime Minister made it clear that no leader should give unnecessary and inflammatory statements on this operation. He probably said this due to the recent statements of the leaders of Haryana and Madhya Pradesh.

Which statements made the reason for the controversy?
The statements of Haryana BJP MP Ramchandra Jangra and Madhya Pradesh Deputy CM Jagdish Deora and Minister Vijay Shah have come under target of the opposition. Ramchandra Jangra alleges that he made indecent remarks on the martyrs and their wives. At the same time, Jagdish Deora put a statement about the action of the army and put the party in trouble. A statement by Vijay Shah was trolled on social media, in which he made unfair remarks on the wife of a martyr Colonel.

Congress war: Prime Minister apologizes
The Congress has demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to publicly apologize and to exclude the guilty leaders from the party. Party President Mallikarjun Kharge made a scathing attack, saying that BJP leaders have been vying for rhetoric against the martyrs and the army. Kharge said, “Modi ji says that he has vermilion in his veins. If this is the case then he should exclude these leaders from the party to honor women.” Congress leader Jairam Ramesh also attacked the BJP and said that the BJP has now become so insensitive that the security is ignoring the lapse and raising finger on the families of the martyrs. He questioned why the Prime Minister and the party leadership is still silent? Should it be considered silent acceptance?
PM Modi’s silence will no longer run: Opposition
Opposition parties say that the silence of Prime Minister Modi and BJP leadership is like indirect support to these controversial statements. In such a situation, it became necessary to speak publicly about the Prime Minister. PM Modi’s statement is an important initiative in this direction, but the opposition is still adamant on the demand for strict action.
