Earlier, Trump imposed an additional 25% tariff on India, leading to this rate to 50%. The decision was taken as “punishment” on continuing crude oil imports from Russia. This is Trump’s biggest tariff growth, except Brazil. India described the move as “inappropriate, unjust and non-essential”, which can affect many areas such as textile and sea exports. Netanyahu said- “Both India and Israel are ancient civilizations and are facing a challenge of terrorism. If we together fight terrorism, we can achieve better results.” Netanyahu said that his government is considering starting a direct flight between Tel Aviv and Bengaluru.
