Islamabad
Pakistan’s Air Force may buy 40 state-of-the-art J-35A fighter aircraft from China. Pakistani Air Force will get much strength from the arrival of these aircraft and it can make a difference on the balance of regional power. Pakistan’s retired Air Commodore Zia ul Haq Shamshi says that the fifth generation J-35 aircraft will increase the strength of Pakistan Air Force manifold with India. He says that the Indian Air Force will not have any such aircraft for the next 14-15 years. In such a situation, Pakistan’s Air Force will take a significant lead over India.
According to the report of Defense Security Asia, Pakistan can change the landscape of the regional air power with this dangerous aircraft from China. Pak Air Force indicated to buy the J-35A Stealth Fighter last year. China’s Sheenang Aircraft Corporation has created this state -of -the -art jet. Pakistan has soon hoped to be a part of the J-35A Pakistan Air Force.
Pak pilot taking training in China
Pakistani media has claimed that their Air Force pilots are in China for training J-35A fighter aircraft. J-35A Mighty Dragon is the second stealth fighter in China after J-20. The J-20 is only for the Chinese Air Force, while the J-35A is also being sold to other countries. Pakistan’s Air Force already includes China’s J-10C and jointly developed JF-17.
The Pak Air Force is acquiring J-35A to replace the old fleet of American F-16 and France’s Mirage 5 aircraft. The J-35A is a single seat, twin-engineer, median-shaped stealth fighter. This is being counted among the most advanced fighter aircraft in the world. China is installing J-35A as a direct rival of the American F-35B and F-35C variants.
India’s concern will increase
If Pakistan gets state-of-the-art J-35, it can increase India’s concern. India’s Air Force has been struggling with shortage of fighter aircraft for a long time. The Indian Air Force is currently dependent on 4.5 generation fighters such as Sukhoi SU-30mki and Rafael. India has been challenged by China and Pakistan. The Chinese Air Force already operates the J-20. If Pakistan gets J-35A right now, India will be forced to expedite its efforts to buy fifth generation fighter aircraft.
