AIMIM Chief and MP from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday condemned the threats of Pakistani Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir against India. He demanded the central government to raise the issue before the US. Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday reacted strongly to the threats of the Pakistani Army Chief on the social media platform ‘X’. He wrote, “The Pakistani Army Chief’s threats and language against India are condemnable. He did this from the US land that makes it worse. The government should give political reaction to it and not only through the statement of the Ministry of External Affairs, but the government should register its protest and raise this issue strongly before America.”
He further wrote, “India is a strategic partner and this misuse of the American soil is unacceptable to both India and Indians. Realizing Pakistan’s military plans, we need to modernize our armed forces. The central government needs to do less budgetary allocation for defense. We need better preparations.” Let me tell you, Asim Munir gave these threats during a private dinner with Pakistani migrants in Tempa, Florida on Saturday. According to media reports, Munir said that we are a nuclear -rich nation. If we feel that we are drowning, we will take half the world with us.
Reacting strongly to the latest statement of the Pakistani Army Chief, India made it clear that it would not bow down to nuclear blackmail. The Ministry of External Affairs said that India will take all necessary steps to protect national security.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said in a statement that our focus has been attracted to the alleged comments made by the Pakistani Army Chief during his visit to the US. It is Pakistan’s habit to threaten nuclear weapons. The international community can conclude their conclusions on the irresponsible individuals inherent in such comments. Such statements further confirm the deep doubts over the nuclear command and the integrity of control in Pakistan, where the army is mixed with terrorist groups. ”
