New Delhi
While traveling from Delhi and Faridabad to Noida, there is often traffic jams, as this route is known for traffic. But now this problem is going to get relief soon, because the construction work of an important expressway is going on. On the completion of this expressway, you will not have to worry about traffic jam for 31 kilometers.
According to reports, this Greenfield Expressway will be 31 km long and will have 6 lanes. It is being constructed from Faridabad Sector-65 to Jewar International Airport. The expressway will start from the DND-KMP spur of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in the West and will end the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and Yamuna Expressway in the eastern Peripheral Expressway and end at the Terminal of Noida International Airport. The work of this project is being done by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).
How much work has been completed?
The construction work of the Haryana section of this expressway is going on relatively slow, while its work is progressing rapidly in Uttar Pradesh. According to the reports, it has been two years since the work of Jewar Expressway started, and the scheduled date to complete it was 21 June 2025, which has now passed. There is still a lot of work left for this expressway, and the work had to be stopped for some time. Work has not been started at many places in the Haryana section, and now by the end of 2026, this expressway is expected to be completed.
Noida will arrive in 15 to 20 minutes
The total cost of this project is estimated to be more than Rs 2,400 crore. The construction of this expressway will reduce the distance between Noida and Faridabad. Currently, it takes more than two hours to reach Jewar Airport from Faridabad, while after the opening of this new route, this journey will be completed in only 15 to 20 minutes. With the construction of this expressway, the drivers traveling between these two cities will get a lot of convenience.
Expressway will pass through these areas
The Greenfield Expressway being built between Faridabad and Noida Airport will connect many areas of these two cities. This expressway will reach Bahpur, Kalan, Mohana and Narhavali villages of Haryana via Vallabhnagar, Ampur and Jhupa villages of Gautam Budh Nagar. In addition, this horoscope will also establish an association with Ghaziabad Palwal (KGP), Yamuna Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Highway and Kundali, Manesar, Palwal (KMP) highway.
