The Kashi Scholar Council has released a new Hindu code of conduct to improve Hindu traditions and social behavior. This 400-page document has been prepared after long deliberations with scholars, Shankaracharyas, Mahamandaleshwar and saints across the country. The new code has advised complete ban on dowry, prohibition of extravagance in weddings and marrying in a Vedic manner during the day.

Only 13 people will join Brahmabhoj
The limit has been set to include only 13 people in the banquet after the funeral. Along with this, modern practices like pre-wedding shoots and engagement have also been discouraged. The Code has simplified the process of returning to Hinduism.
