New Delhi
On Sunday, Union Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh appreciated India’s latest economic achievement, saying that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has put ‘a sharp step, a big jump towards developed India’. Jitendra Singh’s remarks came a day after the official confirmation that India has become the fourth largest economy in the world, leaving behind Japan.

Expressing happiness over India’s climbing one notch in the global economic rankings, the Union Minister posted on the social media platform ‘X’, “Thank you Prime Minister Narendra Modi for doing so.” Talking to reporters, he said, “The foresight with which India has gone on development journey for the last 10-12 years is the result of that. According to me, the biggest thing behind this achievement was that PM Modi has made the people of the country aware of the importance of technology for the first time. Very revolutionary decisions were taken regarding technology.
