Meteorological Department Red Alert: Heavy rain in these states from 10 to 15 August

Delhi-NCR has been receiving heavy rains with strong winds since this morning, which has caused a lot of shock to the people. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in many states regarding the coming days, especially in many areas on the festival Rakshabandhan.

The possibility of heavy rains continue for the next seven days
According to the Meteorological Department, excessive rainfall may begin in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh between August 10 to 14. In Delhi, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms. There are indications of light rain starting in many areas of Central India and Rajasthan, which may continue for the next four-five days.

Monsoon’s impact intensifies in Northeast India too
There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in the northeastern states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. From August 8 to 13, there will be continuous rainfall in these states. The Meteorological Department has asked for special vigilance in these areas, as heavy rains also have a threat to floods and landslides.

Rakhi day and then weather conditions
Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh: Heavy rains will start from August 10, which is likely to continue on Rakhi. Along with heavy rains in these states, there will also be a danger of floods and landslides in some places.

Delhi-NCR: Thunderstorms can occur on the day of Rakhi, due to which the weather will remain cold but there may be a problem of waterlogging at some places.

Central India and Rajasthan: Light to moderate rain activities will begin in the next few days, which may continue during the festival.

Northeast states: There will be a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu: In these southern states, heavy rains will continue from August 10 to 15, which can cause waterlogging and traffic problems on the roads.

Bihar and surrounding districts: West Champaran, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Supaul, Madhepura and districts like Kishanganj will have to be cautious due to heavy rains.

Special warning from Meteorological Department
In some areas, the risk of lightning has also been reported. Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, has recently taken place cloud burst (cloud burst), causing devotees who have gone on the Kailash Yatra. Similarly, there is a threat of landslides in Uttarakhand and floods in Delhi-UP. The Meteorological Department has advised people to stay safe and take necessary precautions on festivals like Rakshabandhan and Janmashtami.
