Market capitalization of 6 out of the top 10 companies in the country decreased by Rs 1.36 lakh crore

The market capitalization of six of India’s top ten most valuable companies has fallen by Rs 1.361 lakh crore this week, with the most loss to Reliance Industries. The stock market closed down the sixth consecutive week after US President Donald Trump’s improper declaration of improper tariffs on Indian goods. The Nifty and the Sensex fell nearly one percent to close at 24,363 and 79,857 respectively.
Of the top ten companies of the Nifty Pack, the market capitalization of Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Infosys and Hindustan Unilever declined.
The market assessment of Reliance Industries has come down by Rs 34,710 crore to Rs 18,51,174 crore. HDFC Bank’s market capitalization has come down by Rs 29,722 crore to Rs 15,14,303 crore.
ICICI Bank’s market capitalization decreased by Rs 24,719 crore to Rs 10,25,495 crore and the market capitalization of Infosys declined by Rs 19,504 crore to Rs 5,91,423 crore.
The evaluation of Bharti Airtel has come down by Rs 15,053 crore to Rs 10,59,850 crore and the evaluation of Hindustan Unilever has come down by Rs 12,441.09 crore to Rs 5,87,021.88 crore.
The market capitalization of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), State Bank of India, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and Bajaj Finance increased.
LIC’s market capitalization has increased by Rs 17,678 crore to Rs 5,77,188 crore. The evaluation of TCS increased by Rs 11,361 crore to Rs 10,97,909 crore.
State Bank of India’s market assessment increased by Rs 9,784 crore, causing its evaluation to Rs 7,42,649 crore, and the evaluation of Bajaj Finance has increased by Rs 186 crore to Rs 5,45,148 crore.
The next week is going to be very important for the Indian stock market. Updates on the Indo-US trade deal, quarterly results, FIIs, inflation and economic data will determine the market move.
Apart from this, in the trading session from August 11 to 14, Bajaj Consumer Care, Bata India, BEML, Cello, Dollar, Abbott India, Bajaj Hindustan Sugar, Hindustan Aeronautics, Minda Corporation, MRF, NSDL, NMDC, ONGC and DB Realty will be presented results of the first quarters of the year 26.
