A fierce fire broke out in a seven -storey mushroom plant late Saturday night in Karpia village of Bever area of Mainpuri. This fire from the short circuit took a formidable form on seeing this, which caused chaos in the entire region. A loss of crores of rupees is being estimated.

For nearly four years, a mushroom plant under the name of Kapil Muni Agro Foods was being operated at Kapilmuni Cold Store. About 700 blocks were built in seven floors here, where mushrooms were produced. It is operated by Manoj Kumar Singh Bais. The fire broke out at around 12:30 pm on Saturday night, which the villagers gave information about the smoke rising from the plant at around 5 am on Sunday morning.
Police officer and fire brigade present on the spot
On the information, ASP Nagar Arun Kumar Singh, SDM Bhogaon Sandhya Sharma, CO City Santosh Kumar Singh reached the spot along with the police force and fire department. Despite the initial efforts, the fire could not be controlled. After this, additional fire engines were called from Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur and Etawah districts.
The entire plant was burnt by burning
According to the plant Swami Manoj Kumar Singh, the entire material kept in mushroom bags and warehouses in the fire was gutted. Due to Rakshabandhan, the workers were on leave at that time, due to which the fire could not be reported on time. Fire brigade teams are constantly trying to control the fire.
