Gwalior. Illegal earnings of crores and fake compassionate appointment of crores, Saurabh Sharma, the dismissed constable of the Transport Department, seems to be further increasing. The entire service record of Saurabh Sharma has been handed over to the Sirol police station of Gwalior by Bhopal Lokayukta. With the investigation of this record, preparations for questioning Saurabh and his mother Uma Sharma have also started.

In the case of Saurabh Sharma, not only the same, but many of his fellow constables have also come under the scanner. Recently, statements of some constables who have worked with Saurabh have been recorded at the Transport Headquarters. He is accused of collusion with Saurabh. Now all points are being investigated in depth.
Inexplicable property was found in raid
The case came into the limelight on 19 December 2024 when a huge amount of cash, gold and silver were recovered in the raid of Lokayukta at Saurabh’s house in Bhopal. The same night, the Income Tax Department seized 11 crore cash and 52 kg of gold in Mendori forest. After this, the ED (Enforcement Directorate) also jumped into the case and action was taken in many cities.
Departmental negligence also surfaced
Serious irregularities have also been revealed in Saurabh Sharma’s compassionate appointment process. During his appointment, during the tenure of the then Transport Commissioner Shailendra Srivastava, it was deliberately ignored. In the documents, the brother’s job was hidden and the concerned departments also kept silence on it.
Now there will be cross verification of documents
According to Sirol police station in -charge Govind Bagauli, the records obtained from the Lokayukta are being closely examined. The signatures of Saurabh and Uma Sharma’s signatures, the validity of affidavits and the officials present at that time are also under investigation.
