Legal screws on Swami Prasad Maurya, court ordered to register FIR

Swami Prasad, who was former minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, is not taking the name of the difficulties of Maurya. The court has ordered an FIR against him for the controversial remarks made on Ramcharitmanas and Tulsidas ji in the year 2023. The complaint of the case was made in Varanasi Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate MP-MLA Court. On which the police station in -charge has been ordered to initiate investigation by registering a case under 156 (3) against Maurya at Cantt police station in Varanasi.

In fact, on 22 January 2023, Swami Prasad Maurya said in an interview on a TV channel that Ramcharitmanas was written by Tulsidas for his happiness. All this is rubbish. The government should ban it. It has been ordered to register an FIR on this statement.

Significantly, Maurya is often in discussion about his statements. On several occasions, he made controversial remarks about Hindu, Sanatan and Brahmins. In this sequence, he was also attacked in Rae Bareli on the previous day. The accused said that he was upset with the statement made by Maurya on Brahmins and Hindus. However, Maurya supporters had beaten the attack fiercely and handed over to the police.

At present, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate MP MLA of Varanasi has registered a case against Swami Prasad Maurya under the relevant sections under 156 (3) at the Cantt police station of Varanasi and ordered the police station in -charge to start investigation. This can increase Maurya’s difficulties.

In the case, an application was filed against him in the court of Varanasi by Bharatiya Janata Party official Kashi area vice -president and lawyer by profession. This application was also rejected in October 2023, but after filing the revision, the MP-MLA court of Varanasi has ordered to register a case against Swami Prasad Maurya on Thursday.
