Leader of Opposition of UP Legislative Assembly- Government is diverting attention, does not want discussion

The monsoon session of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly is going on. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna accused the opposition of disrupting the proceedings of the House. At the same time, Leader of Opposition and veteran BJP leader Mata Prasad Pandey, while denying this, accused the government of diverting attention. Leader of Opposition in the UP Assembly and SP leader Mata Prasad Pandey said, “Suresh Khanna’s allegation is wrong that the members of the Samajwadi Party do not let the House run. The government itself does not want the assembly to go on in a systematic manner. He creates new obstacles and disrupts the assembly’s proceedings and diverts attention on other issues to avoid his responsibilities.”

He said, “The primary responsibility to run the proceedings of the assembly is of the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs. Now if the House is not running then there is no fault of the opposition. The government does not deliberately want the House to run in a planned manner because its misdeeds will be revealed.” Samajwadi Party National General Secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav spoke about the development of Saifai. He said, “Saifai villages are famous all over the country because of Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav) and Akhilesh Yadav. Saifai village has a stadium, and full electricity facility. Between 2012 and 2017, we have developed well of his district, and if we come to power again, we will continue to develop their village and surrounding areas.”

Talking about increasing unemployment in the state, SP MLA Sangram Yadav said, “On the first day of the session, the opposition had given notice about the flood affected areas, where the whole villages are drowning in water due to erosion. I myself raised the issue under Rule 56 that unemployment is increasing in Uttar Pradesh because unemployment is increasing because the examinations are not happening on time. Many young overs are being done in various government departments, but various government departments are not getting on time. Unemployment is increasing due to delay in. ” Today is the second day of the monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The first day was full of uproar, due to which the proceedings of the House had to be postponed. On Tuesday, before the commencement of the proceedings of the House, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya appealed to the opposition to cooperate in a conversation with the media.

Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana said that it is not only the responsibility of running the House, not only the Speaker or the government but all the members. He said that there were very important subjects that could have been discussed. I told the members of the opposition many times that you should speak. He raised the problem of school merger, floods and electricity, so I asked him to give him full opportunity. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the government wants the House to run smoothly. If the opposition has questions, then they raise them in the House, the government will answer it. We are ready to discuss every topic. But if the opposition does not want to participate in the discussion and wants to run, then the government cannot treat it. On questioning the tomb-mandir dispute in Fatehpur, Maurya said that the case has been registered in the case, investigation is on and action will be taken against the culprits.
