Large success of security forces in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, killed in a terrorist encounter

The search operation, which started in Akhhal area of Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, is still going on. The army has killed a terrorist in an encounter with terrorists during the operation. The army fears that two to three terrorists may be hiding in the area right now. Chinar Corps of the Indian Army has given information about this.

Giving information, Chinar Corps said that a joint team of Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) started siege and search operation in the forest area of South Kashmir based on intelligence input of the presence of terrorists. Meanwhile, the terrorists started firing indiscriminately at the security forces, which the security forces gave a befitting reply in retaliation and killed a terrorist in the encounter.

The army says that two to three terrorists are expected to be stranded in this area, which may include Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists. The security forces have further strengthened the siege of the area and additional forces have been sent to the spot, as the terrorists have been intermittently and firing intensely. The operation is still going on.
