India’s tremendous military preparations took place in a year, revolution in the defense sector… China-Pak senses

New Delhi
India has now made its strong identity in the world of defense production, not just the country protecting borders. In 2024-25, the country’s defense production has crossed the historical figure of ₹ 1.50 lakh crore-which is not only a big jump of self-reliant India, but also for countries like China and Pakistan that India is no longer behind in strategy, technology and strength. Equipped with rapidly growing military capacity and state -of -the -art techniques, India has now moved towards ‘export from construction’.

Defense production capacity almost doubled in the last 5 years
Rajnath Singh, while sharing this progress on his official X (East Twitter) handle, said that in 2019-20, defense production was at ₹ 79,071 crore, while now it has registered a growth of 90%. He credited the coordinated efforts of the Department of Defense Productions, public sector defense companies and private defense industry for this success. He wrote, “This magnificent achievement has a glimpse of India’s self -reliance. The way the government, public sector and private companies have created defense ecosystem together are commendable.”

‘Operation Sindoor’ – a glimpse of modern defense technology
While India’s defense production graph is touching height, on the other hand, the power of India’s military capabilities is clearly reflected in ‘Operation Sindoor’. After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 7 May 2025, India started this retaliation, in which the terrorist bases within Pakistan were targeted accurately.
DRDO showed technical lead
DRDO chief Sameer Kamat explained the defense techniques of India used in this operation in detail. He said that the state -of -the -art systems used in this military action were included:
-Brahmos supersonic cruise missile, which destroys the target with high speed and accuracy.
-Aai-based Decision Support System, which helped the army to take strategic decisions in real time.
-Air-to-air missile system, which accurately hit the enemy’s antics in air areas.

Big jump in the direction of self -sufficient India
India’s defense sector is no longer limited to arms manufacturing. It is on a rapid pace on the path of research, innovation, export and technical self -sufficiency. In 2024-25, not only record production was recorded in this sector, but India’s capabilities have also been recognized internationally.
