A Ground-Breaking Step Towards Advanceing Animal Welfare and Sustainable Farming Was Marked With The Inauguration of India First State-of-to Environmentally Controlled Cage-Free Pltry Training FacITY in Facing Trichy, Tamil Nadu. This pioneering center has been developed through a collaborative effort between People for Animals Public Policy Foundation (PFAPF), Global Food Partners, Happy Hens Farms, and the Cage-FREE FREE-Rang Poultry Producers Association, with Vital Support from Tansim (Tamil Nadu Startop and Innovation MSST)
Inauguration of India’s first collaborative Cage-Free Training Facility in Trichy, Tamil Nadu
The facility aims to serve as a central hub for training, research, innovation in cage -free and free-running poultry production practices across India.
The inauguration was followed by a training of trainers (tot) that brieft together Leading Experts and Progressive Individuals Committed to Advanceing India’s Paultry Sector. Trainers Included Specialists from the Global Food Partners, Dutch Poultry Institute, Certified Humane, and Big Dutchman, Among others, allies, Who LED Sessions on Cage-Free Housing Systems, Birds Welfare, Market Integration, and Farm Management Best Practices.
The three-day program hosted a Diverse Group of Participants, Including Government Officers from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and GUJARAT, GUJARAT, GUJARATES from the Central Poultry Development Organization (CPDO), veterinarians from the Central Avian Research Institute (CARI), and Independent Entrepreneurs. Togeether, they explred the growing demand and market options for cage-free and free-running eggs in India, Along with the evolving national and global standards for welfare-firingly Farming.
