In Pakistan’s Punjab province, aircraft started swinging in the air in the middle of the storm!

The horrific storm and heavy rains that came on Saturday evening in Pakistan’s Punjab province not only caused the ground devastation, but also put the passengers of an aircraft flying in the sky in panic. The flight of a private aviation company coming from Karachi to Lahore was not able to land at Lahore Airport due to bad weather, causing chaos in the passengers. When the aircraft started swinging between strong wind and lightning roar in the sky of Lahore, the passengers started reading the verses of the Quran. Some videos are going viral on social media in which passengers are seen praying and crying.

Sensing the situation, the Air Traffic Control directed the pilot to return to Karachi, which averted a major accident. The incident happened when the government has confirmed the death of 20 people due to strong thunderstorm and heavy rains in Punjab province. Houses collapsed in more than 15 cities including Lahore, Jhelum, Sialkot, Muzaffargarh caused loss of trees, falling trees and billboards. At the same time, hailstorm and strong wind in Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also caused heavy damage to crops and electricity system.
