Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla took a dig at the Congress members to create a ruckus in the House on Thursday and said that the Sanskriti Sanskar of the country has not been to shout slogans, bring placards and torture the tables, but the whole country is watching the conduct of the current MPs of this party. The Congress and its allies created a ruckus on the subject of special intensive revision of the voter list released in Bihar as soon as the proceedings of the House started.

Without naming the Congress, he said, ‘You are a Member of Parliament of such an old political party, which has contributed a lot of dignity and dignity inside this house. He said, ‘This is the largest democracy in the world. The world knows our transparency and accountability within democracy. If you conduct this kind of behavior, what message will go in democratic institutions.

Birla told Congress’s organization general secretary KC Venugopal, ‘Venugopal ji, do you teach your MPs. Shouting slogans, bringing placards, patting the table are no longer the rites of your party, but the kind of rites that the new generation is presenting the whole country is watching. He said, ‘You guys are honorable, millions of people have selected you and have not sent you to break the tables with placards.’

Birla insisted that the House will not work when brought placards. The Lok Sabha Speaker mentioned that people spend crores of rupees on Parliament. He said that after the Question Hour, under the rules, every issue will be given an opportunity to discuss. When the commotion did not stop, they adjourned the proceedings till 2 pm. Earlier, the work was interrupted due to the uproar of the opposition in the House for the first three days of the monsoon session, which began on 21 July.
