There is good news for Maharashtra. The state is going to get its 12th Vande Bharat Express soon, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 10. This new semi-high-speed train will be run between Ajni (Nagpur) to Pune and will be operated and maintained by the Central Railway (CR) zone.
Ajni (Nagpur) – Pune Vande Bharat Express will be the country’s longest running Vande Bharat train, which will cover a distance of 881 km. It will be the fastest train between Nagpur to Pune, the average speed of which will be 73 km per hour. The train will have 10 intermediate stops and it will pass through Wardha-Akola-Shegaon-Bhusawal-Jalgaon-Manmad and pass through Puntamba-Dound.
This new Vande Bharat Express train number will run as 26101/26102. Regular service from Pune will start from August 11 and Ajni from August 12. This train will run six days a week.
This service will provide great facilities to passengers for work, business, studies and tourism in both cities and middle towns. Traders, students, employees and tourists will all get the benefit of fast and comfortable travel. Along with promoting tourism, new opportunities for trade and commerce will also open.
