Ganga form in UP: Water in many districts above the danger mark, village drowning crisis

Ganga has taken the form of a rage due to landslides in the mountains, cloudburst and heavy rains in many parts of UP. In many districts, the river water is flowing above the danger mark. There is a flow of 2 lakh 81 thousand 676 cusecs per second at the Narora barrage of Bulandshahr on Saturday. Whereas the danger water level above sea level is at 179.14 meters. At the same time, due to continuous rise in the water level of Moradabad Ganga river, there is a threat of floods on Babrala Ghat, Rajghat and Narora Ganga barrage of Gunnore region.

The rains in UP have brought trouble in many districts. Due to the rise in the water level of the Ganges river, flood -like conditions have been created in hundreds of villages. The Ganges water has reached the shore in dozens of villages including Raghupur Pukta, Megra, Narupura, Madhaiya, Maidavali, Totapur, Bajhagi, situated along the Ganges in Moradabad. If the water level continues to grow like this, then there can be a situation of cutting and flooding in the villages. The administration may have described the situation under control, but the villagers are in awe and people are preparing to migrate towards safe places.

Due to the boom in the Ganges, the crops of the villages along the Ganges of Bulandshahr district have been submerged. Seeing the danger of floods in Khadar, the administration has forbidden the villagers to go to the Ganges. The administration is monitoring the rising water level of the Ganges by deploying the employees of the revenue department at the flood posts. For the last one week, the water level in the Ganges has been increasing continuously. On Wednesday, more than 3 lakh water drainage was recorded from Haridwar and Bijnor Ganga Barrage, due to which Ganga crossed the danger mark in Narora at 12 pm on Friday night.

36 villages of three tehsils of Badaun are in flood
Due to the steady increase in the water level of the Ganges and Ramganga river, 36 villages of the three tehsils of flood Badaun have been hit by floods, in which water has reached eight villages in the area. Flood water has also reached five villages of Sahaswan. Due to the increase in the water level of Ramganga river, water is running over the Hazratpur-Garh color route.

Due to increasing discharge from Narora, Bijnor, Haridwar, there is continuous increase in the Ganges river. The water level in the Ganges river reached 27 centimeters above the danger mark for Friday. Due to this, water has also reached the villages which were away from floods. A total of 36 villages of Sadar, Sahaswan, Dataganj tehsil are affected due to the floods in the Ganges river, people of these villages are facing problems these days. People of the villages where flood water has been flooded, has started taking shelter in safe places.
