The leopards have come away from Kuna National Park in Madhya Pradesh once again. This time a group of five cheetahs has been seen in Morena. These leopards appeared on the road near the dam near Jaura on Sunday morning. The people present there made a video of him. As soon as the information is received, the team of Forest Department, Cheetah Friends has been deployed for monitoring and the villagers have been advised to remain alert. Here the people of the villages are also in panic due to the cheetahs.
In fact, five leopards emerged from Kuno National Park were seen near Pagara Dam in Jaura area of Morena district on Sunday morning. On Sunday morning, when the passers -by on a walk, they suddenly saw the cheetahs, they came in panic. There, the mother made a video of the cheetahs. Deputy Ranger Vinod Kumar Upadhyay said that at 6:45 am on Sunday morning, Cheetah, who came from Kailaras, was seen on the Kothi of Pagara Dam of Jaura. The team immediately reached the spot as soon as the staff of the Jaura forest area got the location. The leopards are still sitting on the chest of Pagara Dam Kothi. Cheetah friends are present with them and are monitoring at some distance. The forest department team surrounded the area and started monitoring.
Deputy Ranger Vinod in charge said that these leopards have reached the Jaura region from Kuno National Park Sheopur via Kailaras. At present, all the leopards Pagara Dam, Kothi and Jogi are resting in the upper area of Ghatia of Deogarh village. He told that four cheetah friends are also present along with cheetahs. There are tracking collar in the throat of the cheetahs, which are getting information about their location. The forest department team is running along the cheetahs and keeping an eye on their activities. He said that till now the cheetahs have not caused any harm to anyone.
Panic in the area due to the arrival of cheetahs: There is an atmosphere of panic due to leopards in Jaura and nearby rural areas. People are coming out in the group itself and children are being kept inside the houses. The matter has become a topic of discussion throughout the district after the videos of cheetahs went viral. The department has appealed to the villagers to be vigilant. The department has instructed people not to go alone in the fields, prevent children from playing outside and immediately inform the location of cheetahs to the forest department or local administration.
