A jawan sacrifice and two were seriously injured by a landmine blast at Krishna Valley Upazila in Poonch district. The accident occurred when Naib Subedar Hari Ram, Havildar Gajendra Singh and soldier Lalit Kumar were regularly patrolling near their Agram Choki. Meanwhile, he was hit by the explosion of the M-16 mine buried in the area.
Naib Subedar Hari Ram was sacrificed in the blast, while Havildar Gajendra Singh and constable Lalit Kumar were seriously injured. The injured are immediately admitted to the military hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Relief and rescue operations have been started as soon as the officials get information about the incident.
