Farooq Abdullah’s big statement: ‘Terrorism from Kashmir will never end

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah has given a controversial statement about terrorism in the state. He has said that till the situation does not improve in Pakistan, terrorism in Kashmir is never going to end.

Talking to the media, he said, ‘I claim that militancy will never end here, unless our neighboring country and the situation there are better. Militency will not end here until the situation of Pakistan improves.

On the other hand, security has been tightened in Jammu and Kashmir on August 5. On August 5, 2019, the special situation given under Article 370 of Jammu and Kashmir was canceled.

So far this year so many terrorists have been killed

Since the beginning of this year, security forces have killed 59 terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. Of these, 31 terrorists were Pakistan and 28 local terrorists. These figures are according to the news of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the media.

Terrorists are not well after the Pahalgam attack

On April 22, 26 innocent people were killed by Pakistani terrorists in Pahalgam. Since this terror attack, security forces have been hitting a tremendous attack on the terrorists. After 22 April, 21 terrorists were killed in 6 different encounters.

After the Pahalgam attack, on 24-25 April, Farooq Abdullah said that such terrorist attacks are against humanity. He appealed to the local people to show solidarity against terror.

Between 1 and 3 May, he described the security and intelligence system lapse for this attack during a media interaction. He had asked the Government of India to reconsider the issue on the decision to postpone the Sindhu Water Agreement.

During the discussion on Operation Sindoor on 27 May, Farooq Abdullah had said that war is not a solution to the problem, war brings only waste.
