Production in these districts
Herman 99 apples are being produced in Jhansi, Lalitpur, Hamirpur, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and Niwari districts of Bundelkhand. Farmer Surendra Rajput of Tikamgarh told that he had ordered this plant online in 2021. For the last 3 years, their trees have been continuously giving fruits. He started production of apples with the help of the horticulture department of Madhya Pradesh government. Every year they are getting good production.
Beginning with 22 trees
Surendra Rajput had asked for 22 trees online. Today all those 22 trees are alive and they are suffering fruits. The temperature in Bundelkhand reaches 40 to 50 degrees. But it has no effect on this plant. Its production is good. He said that about 25 to 30 kg of apples are produced in a tree. This fruit falls in late May and in the first week of June. At that time the apple of Kashmir stops coming. Therefore, there is a good price of apple in Bundelkhand. The price of apple in this season is 250-300 rupees per kg.
Tree dries in January
Surendra Rajput said that the tree dries up in January. It is then harvested. The better harvesting, the more fruit will be planted in the tree. This is followed by a crossing of flowers. Pesticides also have to be sprayed. They have been continuously producing apples and selling in the market for the last 3 years.
200 rupees per kg in wholesale
Farmer Surendra Rajput says that when the apple of Kashmir stops coming to the market, the apple of Bundelkhand is most visible. The summer apple tastes sweet and the color is also good. Hence its wholesale rate is sold up to ₹ 200. Due to production in Bundelkhand, its demand in the market is increasing. This apple is fresh. It takes time to come from Kashmir. In summer, this apple immediately reaches the market. Therefore, its profit is also good.

Surendra Rajput says that apple is being produced in good amount in Bundelkhand. If a farmer wants to cultivate it, then he has to take care of some things. While planting the plant, it is important to keep in mind that give it a small amount of water. Spray pesticides, so that termites do not occur. After 2 years, he starts giving fruit. When the tree grows up and dries up in January, cut its branches. If there is no bee, then the crossing of flowers also has to be done with another flower. This makes the production of fruits good.
