According to Banganga police, the name of Anwar Qadri has come up on the arrest of accused Altaf and Sahil, who is a resident of Bhishti Mohalla. Qadri is a councilor of ward-58. His wife has also been a councilor. According to TI Siyaram Singh Gurjar, Anwar has been accused of conspiracy.
Financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh
The accused said that he had provided financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh. He had said to marry Hindu women and push them into body trade. According to TI, he searched for the accused but he escaped from the house. On Wednesday, a reward of Rs 10,000 was declared on his arrest. There are 19 cases registered against Anwar.
Accused is registered in many serious sections
He lived in Madina Nagar (Azadnagar) in the east. The first crime was registered in 1997 at the Sanyogitaganj police station.
