CM Yogi strict on negligence of officials: ‘Mandal wise dialogue’ will be directly monitored

The continuous growing rage between public representatives and government officials in Uttar Pradesh has now become a headache for the government. Following complaints from legislators and ministers, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched a new initiative called ‘Mandalwar Samvad’. Through this initiative, efforts are being made to establish coordination by bringing public representatives and officers on one platform. In the last few months, many ministers and MLAs have come out openly against the arbitrary and non -cooperation attitude of the officers. Energy Minister A.K. Many leaders like Sharma and Minister of State Pratibha Shukla have publicly expressed their displeasure.

Controversy was going on for two years, now allegations came out openly
According to sources, there was a tension between MLAs and officials for the last two years. Now, in view of the Panchayat elections to be held in 2026 and the 2027 assembly elections, the dispute has come to the surface. A BJP MLA says, “We are accountable to the public, but the officials are not ready to listen to us.”

Cleanliness of officials: Public representatives put improper pressure
On the other hand, members of the Secretariat Employees Union and many officials are seen saying that the public representatives often put pressure beyond the rules. The Chief Minister had already asked the officials to work without unnecessary pressure.

CM gave strict instructions, DM-SDM transferred
CM Yogi has taken the complaints of ministers and MLAs seriously and transferred officers in the respective districts. According to Minister Pratibha Shukla, “Yogi ji listened to us and changed the officers concerned. Hopefully things will improve now.”

Officials picked up the phone… Energy Minister has openly expressed displeasure
Significantly, recently Energy Minister AK Sharma wrote on the X account of his office- ‘The officials have completely stopped picking up the phone. The situation was already bad, and now it is worse. ‘ Sharma uploaded an audio clip of a conversation between the power consumer and an official of the department to speak.
