Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an aerial inspection of the Kavad Yatra on Haridwar Delhi National Raj Marg on Sunday and offered prayers at Baba Dudheshwarnath Temple here. The Chief Minister conducted an aerial inspection of Chaudhary Charan Singh Kavad Marg and Meerut-Muzaffarnagar road by helicopter. After this, he also rained flowers on the kavadis. The Chief Minister took information from the officials of Meerut Range regarding the Kanwar Yatra. He rained flowers in Meerut on the passengers coming from Haridwar to Kavad. During the flower rains, the Chief Minister also spoke directly to some kanvadis.
The Kanwari greeted him with the slogan of Har Har Har Mahadev. During the flower rains, the slogans of every Har Mahadev echoed far and wide. Juna Akhara spokesperson and Shrimant Narayan Giri of Sridudheshwarnath Math said that the Chief Minister also launched the Shravan Kavad fair starting today by offering prayers in the temple. This fair will run till the Jalabhishek of Shivaratri in Siddhapeeth.
