Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made a great announcement on Wednesday to bring tourism to new heights in Madhya Pradesh. He informed that helicopter service will be started in the state soon like Uttarakhand, which will facilitate tourists to reach major tourist destinations. This unique announcement was made at the ‘Rural Color, Tourism Sog’ at the state level festival, which was held at Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Center, Bhopal. This step will open new doors of tourism in Madhya Pradesh and tourists will feel a new experience.

Emphasis on wellness tourism and respiratory tourism

The Chief Minister said that wellness facilities will also be developed at tourist places. Its purpose is that tourists can enjoy mental and physical relaxation as well as natural environment. In this sequence, a new website of Resposable Tourism Mission was launched.

During this, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that helicopter service will be started soon through the State Tourism Board on the lines of Uttarakhand in the state. The state government has summoned to increase wellness facilities for tourists. This will increase the medical tourism of the state and will benefit the economy of the state. During this time, the rural home stay operators, sarpanches and 10 district collectors were honored with a citation for better work.

Local employment will be promoted

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that due to tourism activities at the village level, the youth are available for employment and economic advancement at the local level. Tourism activities, our rich cultural heritage, Teej-festival-Parva and Catering are helpful in nationally recognizing the national international level. Tourism and Culture Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang, Principal Secretary, Department of Tourism and Culture, Shivsekhar Shukla attended the event.

An agreement was reached between the tourism board and the Divya Yoga Mandir Trust (Patanjali) for the training of yoga and meditation in rural areas and setting up small wellness centers. An agreement has been signed between Signified Innovation India Limited for installing solar energy moving street lights in 61 tourist villages.
These collectors honored

On achieving 100 % target in home stay construction, Narmadapuram collector Sonia Meena, Raghavendra Singh of Agar-Malwa, Partha Jaiswal of Chhatarpur, Shilendra Singh of Chhindwara, Rewa Collector Pratibha Pal, Lokesh Kumar Jangid of Niwari, Ankit Asthana of Morena, Balaguru of Sehore, were honored.

Virtual launch of home stay, employment will increase

On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated the virtual of 241 home stay. These home stays have been developed in 121 villages of the state. Its purpose is to promote rural tourism and connect local people with self -employment.

61 villages will be illuminated with LED and solar lights

In this program, an important MoU was signed between Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and Signifying institution. Under this, LED and solar lights will be installed in 61 villages, which will increase the light of tourist destinations there and will also ensure accountability to the environment.
