Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the health of women and children is our biggest priority. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are moving towards his health and nutritional improvement. Changes are now visible due to the efforts of the government. Efforts are being made on mission mode in Madhya Pradesh to improve child nutrition. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing representatives of UNICEF India on Friday.

Susintia McCafre, the head of UNICEF India, a courtesy at the Chief Minister’s residence. He appreciated the efficient leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for the women and children of Madhya Pradesh, for the implementation of cash assistance to adolescents and national CMAM guidelines for MHM and focus on malnutrition.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is very conscious and committed to the health of its children. The benefits of the government’s child nutrition reform schemes are reaching every worthy child. He said that we are fast moving towards ensuring access to our government’s plans to every needy person of the state. Everyone should get the benefit of the government’s schemes, it is being decided at every level.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that more efforts are being made to remove malnutrition among children in the state. The government is making efforts on mission mode to reach such children with additional assistance to serious intense malnourished children. He said that we are including the Department of Health, Education and Rural Development along with the Department of Women and Child Development to deal with the challenge of malnutrition among children in the state. The head of UNICEF India, Sousthia McCafre, also handed over the spatial schemes developed by the students of the School of Planning and Architecture in collaboration with UNICEF to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.

During the courtesy, Secretary and Commissioner Public Relations Dr. Sudam Khade, UNICEF Madhya Pradesh (AI) chief Anil Gulati, nutritionist Supushpa Awasthi and Nutrition Officer Dr. Suresh Parmar were also present. During the meeting, UNICEF representatives discussed the schemes and innovations related to overall development, education, health, nutrition and child protection of children in the state and appreciated various efforts being made for women and child nutritional improvement in Madhya Pradesh.
