The Central Government and NDA are relaxed about the Vice Presidential election and she is not trying to make any hurry in the candidate selection. It is reported that NDA will finalize the name after Rakhi. At the same time, the government will also talk to the leaders of the opposition before deciding the candidates.

Sources reveal that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh can be given the responsibility of forming a general opinion in the name of Vice Presidential candidate by talking to the leaders of the opposition. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other senior ministers may also talk to NDA colleagues.
