A relief news has come out for the central government employees. Central personnel can take an additional 30-day holiday in addition to other characters every year in addition to other eligible holidays, citing any personal cause, including the care of their elderly parents. Apart from the eligible holidays, it will be in the form of 30 days earned holiday per year. Apart from this, employees can take 20 days off with half salary. Central personnel are also allowed to take 8 days casual leave and 2 days restricted leave.
In response to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that in addition to other eligible holidays in the Central Civil Services (Holiday) Rules, 1972, there is a provision of 30 days of earned holiday for central government employees per year, 20 days’ holiday, 8 -day casual leave and 2 days restricted leave. They can take advantage of this for any personal reasons including taking care of their elderly parents.
