Prime Minister Modi addressed the AI Action Summit at the Grand Palace in Paris. The Prime Minister said, “I am grateful to my friend President Macron for hosting this summit and inviting me to co-head the chairmanship. AI is already giving a new look to our economy, security and even our society. AI is writing code for humanity in this century.” The Prime Minister said that AI can change life of crores of people.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “AI is developing at an unprecedented scale and speed and is being adopted and implemented even more. There is also deep dependence beyond the boundaries. Therefore, the government and standards require collective global efforts to establish governance and standards that upload our shared values, address risks and build trusts. But governance is not only about arranging and not only about managing. It is also about promoting and implementing it for global good. Therefore we should think deeply about innovation and governance. ”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I start with a simple experiment. If you upload your medical report on the AI app, it can explain what it means in simple language, without any jargon, for your health. But if you ask the same app to make a picture with the left hand of a person with the left hand, the app will most likely show a person with his right hand.”
Addressing the AI Action Summit in Paris, the Prime Minister said, “Governance also means to ensure access to all, especially in Global South. This is the place where there is the highest lack of capabilities, whether it is power, talent or data for financial resources. AI can help in changing millions of people in health, education, agriculture and more. It can help in making a world in which it can help in a world that will help in the world of sustainable growth and more by doing better. To do this, we have to bring resources and talent together.
