The High Court has illegally appointed the Vice Chancellor of Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University in Raipur. After hearing the case, the court ruled, in which it is written that Shailendra Patel does not fulfill the qualification prescribed for the post of Registrar in charge, and his appointment to this post is illegal. With this decision, the High Court dismissed the petition of the petitioner in -charge Shailendra Patel.
In the year 2022, when Rahul Giri Goswami lodged an objection to the appointment of Shailendra Patel in charge of Registrar, this case was going on. The complainant questioned Patel’s qualification and validity of the appointment process. On the basis of the complaint, an FIR was lodged, which has been mentioned in the order of the High Court. The final hearing of the case was held on 6 March 2025 in the High Court. After the hearing, the court reserved the verdict. Which has been released.
Rahul Giri Goswami had alleged in his complaint that Shailendra Patel was appointed illegally against the rules. After the complaint, an FIR was lodged. The High Court has written in its order that the petitioner in -charge Registrar Shailendra Patel does not fulfill the educational and administrative qualifications required for the post of Registrar. Therefore, he cannot be appointed to the post of Registrar.
