Aligarh becomes a defense hub due to BrahMos and drone construction: CM Yogi claims

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the ‘One District One Product’ scheme has emerged as a model inside the country today. CM Yogi appealed to the people that adopting indigenous today is the biggest need of all of us people. If our money goes to our own artisans and handicrafts, then it will be the basis of development and prosperity. The per capita will discharge a decisive role in increasing income. CM said that the Defense Corridor, which started in 2018, is producing advanced weapons like BrahMos missile today. This missile is unique in the world and is capable of responding to every enemy of India. Referring to ‘Operation Sindoor’, he appreciated India’s military power and self -reliance. The Chief Minister said that Aligarh is also making its mark in drone and hardware industry, providing employment and prosperity to local artisans.

CM Yogi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 186 development projects worth Rs 958 crore at a grand ceremony held at Numaish Maidan in Aligarh on Tuesday. During this, he said, “If this money of ours will go into foreign hands, then it will be used against India to destabilize India, as a conversion, as a dislocation, as an explosion.” CM Yogi appealed to people to give indigenous products to indigenous products on all the upcoming festivals.

At the ceremony, CM Yogi distributed certificates, assistance amounts, tablets, houses and Ayushman cards to the beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes. The CM visited the exhibition of local products and presented chocolate, Makhan and toys to the children adorned as Lord Krishna.
Addressing the public meeting, CM Yogi underlined the historical and cultural heritage of Aligarh. He said that former Chief Minister Late. Kalyan Singh gave Aligarh recognized at the national level. Realizing their dreams, we are giving new heights to the lock industry through ‘One District One Product’. Repeating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Vocal for Local’ campaign, CM Yogi appealed to adopt indigenous products. He said that Aligarh’s lock industry, brass sculptures, and hardware are fulfilling demand in the country and abroad today. By buying foreign goods, our money promotes terrorism and instability. When we buy foreign goods, it gets its profit to terrorism, conversion and anti -national forces. Giving the example of ODOP products of districts like Moradabad, Firozabad, Bhadohi, and Meerut, he said that they are becoming the basis of prosperity and employment of local artisans. Adopting indigenous products and promoting it is needed today. With this, we can strengthen our nation.

CM Yogi Adityanath, while emphasizing on the cleanliness campaign, said that all people should make cleanliness a part of life. He said that cleanliness is our national duty. Stop using ‘single use plastic’, so that the drains do not choke and do not have waterlogging problems. He appealed for the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign for Independence Day and said that from August 13 to 15, the tricolor should be waved in every house, establishment and educational institute. Clean the monuments of freedom struggle and pay tribute to the martyrs. He said that it is not just a flag, but a symbol of India’s pride, sacrifice and self -esteem.

CM Yogi appreciated the double engine government’s zero tolerance policy. He said that before 2017, many districts of Aligarh and Uttar Pradesh were struggling with riots and chaos. Today, due to better law and order, new possibilities of investment and development are opening up. In the recruitment of 60,244 policemen recently, 1,344 youths were selected from Aligarh, which they described a proud moment for local families. He said that we are going to do 30 thousand more recruitments in UP Police. He said, “Before 2017, government jobs were the legacy of some families, but now selection is being done on merit basis. Logistics and investment projects are proof of this.”

CM Yogi said that Aligarh has created a new focal point inside the country for the construction of the idol. Expressing enthusiasm for Rakshabandhan and Janmashtami, CM said that everyone should gift indigenous products to their relatives to promote local products. With this, our hard work will remain in our house. Yogi said that the government is providing free bus travel facility for women from 8 to 10 August. Appreciating the contribution of public representatives, the CM said that the public representatives you elected have given impetus to the development of Aligarh by supporting the double engine government.
